Marius is an accomplished conflict prevention, peacebuilding, development and governance specialist with over a decade of experience leading complex conflict and political analyses in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. He has delivered strategic advice to UN agencies, donor governments, and international organisations on peacebuilding policy and programming, focusing on inclusive governance, social cohesion, and gender equality.
As Chief Technical Advisor with UNDP Kosovo, Marius led multi-agency projects to strengthen social cohesion, empower youth, promote gender equality, and foster interethnic dialogue. His responsibilities encompassed designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating initiatives, as well as producing actionable policy policy recommendations aligned with international peacebuilding and development priorities. In his consultancy work with the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub, he expanded his thematic and geographical expertise by conducting regional peacebuilding and development analyses, particularly on the intersection of youth, digital transformation, and just transition in Europe and Central Asia.
In his academic professional experience, Marius has held research positions at leading UK universities, including King’s College London, University College London, and Queen Mary, University of London. Marius is a published author with research outputs focused on post-conflict statebuilding, governance in multiethnic societies, and the critical analysis of peacebuilding interventions. In his role as Research Assistant for the MAXCAP project at London School of Economics (LSE), he conducted field research and examined judicial independence in Serbia and the Western Balkans within the Europeanisation context.
Currently, as a Senior Researcher at Bodhi Global Analysis, Marius brings his expertise to manage and support multidisciplinary teams in delivering rigorous research and advisory support on conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and governance. His work continues to contribute to shaping innovative strategies and evidence-based solutions for clients across the UN system, donor governments, and NGOs.
