Bodhi conducted an assessment of the impact of rising violence on the socio-economic situation of rural and urban populations in northwest Nigeria, focusing on Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara States. The study paid particular attention to the effects on women and children. Our analysis examined how increased violence has affected livelihoods, access to services, social structures, and overall well-being in these areas. The assessment aimed to provide insights into the differential impacts of violence on various demographic groups and inform targeted interventions to address the resulting socio-economic challenges.
