Asia Region: Context Situational Analysis 2022-2025
Bodhi conducted a comprehensive context situational analysis to inform the development of Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Asia's regional strategic direction for 2022-2025. The analysis focused on three key areas: displacement and conflict (with particular emphasis on the Afghan and Rohingya displacement axes), humanitarian needs and gaps, and humanitarian space and access. This in-depth study examined regional dynamics, challenges, and opportunities across Asia, paying special attention to protracted displacement situations and emerging crises. Based on our findings, we recommended regional strategic directions and formulated objectives supported by a Theory of Change. This analysis aimed to provide DRC Asia with a solid foundation for developing a responsive and effective regional strategy, enabling them to address the complex humanitarian landscape in Asia over the coming years.
