Bodhi conducted a study to inform adaptations to the design and approach of the SPREAD project in the Karamoja Cluster, and to enhance its relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability, including by strengthening its conflict- and gender-sensitivity. The project focused on Turkana County (Kenya) and Eastern Equatoria (South Sudan). The specific components of this project were: Mapping of Peace Infrastructure, Gender-Sensitive Conflict Analysis and Community Security Assessment. Bodhi conducted a comprehensive desk review, as well as key informant interviews and focus group discussions to complete a framework analysis and thematic analysis using in-depth secondary and primary data. The study adhered to feminist research principles, prioritising the voices and experiences of women, youth, and marginalised groups
