Bodhi Kenya undertook the final evaluation of the Advancing Self-reliance Among Displacement-Affected Communities (ASRD) project for the Near East Foundation. This evaluation provided an objective and independent assessment of the project’s implementation and impact, including the achievement of project goals and lessons learned, to guide and inform future interventions. The final evaluation covered the project period from August 2022 to September 2024, targeting a total of 4,007 displacement-affected households as beneficiaries. The objectives of the final evaluation included assessing the extent to which the planned project outcomes and outputs have been achieved, assessing the role and effectiveness of partnership in achieving the project outcomes, reviewing and assessing project partnerships and how these have contributed to the achievement of the outcomes, and generating evidence-based strategic recommendations for future programming. The OECD-DAC evaluation criteria - relevance, coherence, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability - guided the development of the evaluation questions.
