Bodhi was contracted by IOM to conduct the endline evaluation of the CREATE project which addresses the nexus between climate change and human trafficking in Ethiopia and the Philippines. The evaluation assessed the extent to which the project achieved its intended outcomes of promoting climate-resilient livelihoods, informed migration decisions, counter-trafficking integration in disaster frameworks, and enhanced evidence on the climate-trafficking nexus. The evaluation not only measured the project’s effectiveness but also generated insights to inform future programming and policy development at the intersection of climate change, migration, and human trafficking. Bodhi employed a mixed-methods approach to assess the project against OECD-DAC criteria and provide recommendations for scaling similar interventions.
