Research on diaspora engagement in humanitarian response and economic recovery in selected areas of Lebanon (Phase II)

DRC

Bodhi conducted Phase II of a study for DRC to confirm Phase I findings, highlight the perspective of the Lebanese diaspora supporting households and communities in the region, and document diaspora engagement models in humanitarian response. The purpose of this consultancy was to complement the knowledge base established in Phase I by validating its findings and adding insights from the Lebanese diaspora in two selected countries. The study used a rigorous participatory qualitative methodology conducted in two stages. It employed qualitative research methods, including desk-based analysis and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs). The use of different data collection methods enabled the triangulation of multiple data sources, ensuring the findings were accurate and reliable.
