Gender and Conflict Analysis of Afghanistan

Tearfund

Bodhi conducted a comprehensive conflict analysis of Afghanistan, focusing on the intersection between gender and conflict. The study identified key trends in conflicts, mapped crucial stakeholders in the conflict and peacebuilding space, and examined the role of women in both conflict dynamics and peacebuilding efforts. We provided a detailed analysis of how gender issues interact with and influence conflict in the Afghan context. The project delivered recommendations for addressing gender-specific challenges in conflict resolution and peacebuilding. Additionally, we developed likely scenarios for the future of the Afghan conflict, considering gender dimensions. This analysis aimed to inform more effective, gender-sensitive approaches to conflict resolution and peacebuilding in Afghanistan.
