Bodhi was contracted by UNICEF and UNFPA to conduct the Endline Assessment for Girls Reproductive Health, Rights, and Empowerment Accelerated in Tanzania (GRREAT) initiative. The overall purpose of the endline assessment is to assess achievements of the 5-year GRREAT initiative at the ultimate, intermediate and immediate outcome levels at endline as well as to document lessons learnt and good practices for subsequent programming, advocacy for sustainability and scale-up and wider sharing. The methodology involved an assessment across five criteria: relevance, innovation, effectiveness, replicability, and sustainability, drawing on key informant interviews, focus group discussions with adolescents and community members, and a desk review of relevant literature. Data collection occurred in Mbeya, Songwe, Zanzibar, and Dar es Salaam, employing a mixed-methods approach including cross-sectional surveys and qualitative inquiry.
