Political Economy Analysis of Papua New Guinea

Palladium

Bodhi conducted a gender-sensitive political economy analysis of the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU) governance framework in Papua New Guinea for Palladium. This analysis aimed to provide strategic insights for Palladium's programming by elucidating the gender dynamics and political-economic factors that shape the management of AFOLU resources within the country. Emphasising a gender-sensitive approach, the study focused on identifying the obstacles women encounter in consultation processes and their inclusion in decision-making related to forest governance, land use, and sustainability.
