Participatory Gender-Sensitive Conflict Analysis for Gambella and Somali Regions, Ethiopia

DRC

Bodhi conducted a gender-sensitive conflict analysis in Gambella and Somali Regions of Ethiopia, using a robust bespoke conceptual framework. The study aimed to generate a shared understanding of local conflict dynamics in these regions. Our analysis was designed to strengthen the Danish Refugee Council (DRC)'s upcoming programming and inform how their activities might impact these dynamics, both positively and negatively. We identified conflict sensitivity risks and opportunities, providing insights on how to mitigate potential negative impacts and optimize positive outcomes. This comprehensive analysis aimed to enhance DRC's ability to implement conflict-sensitive and gender-responsive programming in these complex regional contexts.
