Bodhi conducted a Conflict Sensitivity Risk Assessment in Shani and Bade Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno and Yobe States, North East Nigeria. The purpose of the assessment was to analyse conflict drivers, actors, and dynamics, identify conflict sensitivity and security risks relevant to WFP and UNICEF, and propose recommendations to enhance conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding efforts. Using a mixed-methods approach, Bodhi analysed conflict drivers, actors, and impacts in these LGAs, collecting data from a desk review, in-depth key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and a quantitative household survey. The study examined social cohesion and conflict trends and dynamics specific to the area. Bodhi also developed a risk matrix and provided recommendations based on the study findings. This comprehensive assessment aimed to offer stakeholders a detailed understanding of the conflict landscape, enabling more effective and conflict-sensitive interventions in the region.
