HDP Triple Nexus Research in Somalia/Somaliland
Bodhi conducted a feasibility study for Oxfam on triple nexus programming in Somalia. The study focused on capturing and assessing Oxfam and its partners' existing experiences and good practices against the concepts of humanitarian relief, development programming, and peacebuilding (HDP). We analysed current initiatives to identify how they align with and integrate these three interconnected areas of work. The research aimed to inform the development of a country-wide triple nexus strategy, providing guidance for Oxfam and its partners' future work in Somalia. This comprehensive study offered insights into practical applications of the triple nexus approach in the Somali context, helping to shape more effective and integrated interventions across humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts.
