Bodhi conducted a final evaluation of the Northern Kenya Integrated Development Programme for Finn Church Aid, focusing on fieldwork in Elgeyo Marakwet and Baringo counties. The programme's key components include mobilising change agents to disseminate conflict mitigation messages and providing livelihood opportunities to former fighters. Our evaluation assessed the effectiveness of these strategies in promoting peace and supporting reintegration in the target areas. The overall objective of the evaluation was to assess the project’s implementation strategies, project partnerships and monitoring aspects of the project between 2018-2021. In addition to this, Bodhi and its team of evaluators assessed sustainability of results achieved and scalability of the project results to inform FCA’s exit strategy. Moreover, the study also aimed to provide insights into the programme's impact and inform future peacebuilding and development initiatives in northern Kenya. As part of data collection and evidence gathering, a total of 14 KIIs and 15 FGDs were conducted in Chesongoch, Chesatan, TOT Division, Kolowa, Barpello and Nairobi.
