Bodhi Kenya has been contracted by the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) to conduct a Final External Evaluation for the project 'Providing an integrated multi-sectoral emergency response to support vulnerable conflict-affected populations through coordination and delivery of essential lifesaving services in Sudan'. The project, which ran from July 2023 through March 2026, was implemented in partnership with IMPACT Initiatives in Sudan and was a multi-sectoral humanitarian response to address the urgent needs of populations affected by the conflict in Sudan that erupted in April 2023. The project’s overall objective was to improve the well‐being, safety, and dignity of conflict‐affected populations in Sudan through the provision of multi‐sectoral assistance and strengthened coordination mechanisms. The objective of Bodhi's evaluation is to determine the relevance and fulfilment of objectives, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the project. A theory‐based evaluation design, centred on contribution analysis, will be implemented and structured across four phases. The evaluation will also include evidence mapping, structured data analysis and qualitative consultations in order to generate actionable insights.
